Due to the high level of interest from last year’s event, HopeNet of Carpinteria will be sponsoring another interactive community workshop: “The ABCs of Suicide Prevention – Just in Case” on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Carpinteria Woman’s Club at 1059 Vallecito Road.
The workshop will feature Lisa Firestone, Ph.D. of The Glendon Association, an international authority on suicide prevention.
Participants will learn the warning signs, coping strategies and sources of support. All are welcome. Spanish translation will be provided.
